Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Rinse the strawberries thoroughly under cold water.
  • Hull the strawberries and slice them into quarters.
