Ingredients

  • 1 package lumpia wrappers
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 cup green onions chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine ground pork, grated carrots, chopped cabbage, green onions, and minced garlic.
  • Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper to the mixture and mix well.
  • Lay a lumpia wrapper on a clean surface, with one corner pointing towards you.
  • Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling near the corner of the wrapper.
  • Fold the corner over the filling and roll tightly.
  • Fold in the sides and continue rolling until sealed.
  • Repeat the process with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  • Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
  • Carefully add the lumpia, frying in batches until golden brown.
  • Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
