Ingredients

  • 200 g ground pork
  • 100 g cabbage finely chopped
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 pack of gyoza wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Water for steaming

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine ground pork, cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  • Mix until well combined.
  • Take a gyoza wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center.
  • Dampen the edges of the wrapper with water.
  • Fold the wrapper in half, pinching the edges to seal.
  • Make pleats along the edge for a decorative touch.
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  • Place gyoza in the pan, frying until the bottoms are golden brown.
  • Add water to the pan, cover, and steam for about 5 minutes.
  • Remove the lid and cook until the water evaporates and gyoza are crispy.
