Dampen the edges of the wrapper with water.
Fold the wrapper in half, pinching the edges to seal.
Make pleats along the edge for a decorative touch.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
Place gyoza in the pan, frying until the bottoms are golden brown.
Add water to the pan, cover, and steam for about 5 minutes.
Remove the lid and cook until the water evaporates and gyoza are crispy.
